On the 28th November, 10 players and 2 coaches from the Warriors are travelling to Boston, USA to experience American Football at three differing levels. During the 6 night stay in Boston, the Warriors will get to see football at High School, College and Professional levels including games at Boston College and the New England Patriots.

The Warriors have got off to a great start in the 2010 junior kitted season, winning all six of their opening games. At the halfway point in the season they sit undefeated on top of the BAFACL Northern conference. The focus is to now finnish as strongly as they have started and ensure a playoff birth is waiting for them in September and the chance to play for the national championship. Well done so far guys, keep up the good work!

The Warriors are delighted to announce that Danny Ketch will be travelling out to America on Sat 14th June to work for 3 months on an American Summer Camp. Danny has gained a summer contract on Camp Cody, New Hampshire, where he will be coaching American Football and other summer sports.

Paul Richardson was one of the first ever players to play for the Woodham Warriors in our first ever flag football game back in 2004. He has since progressed into kitted football and is now playing at the Gateshead Senators and was recently selected to play for the Great Britain Lions Youth team. Everyone at Woodham is very proud of Pauls' achievements and wishes him all the best!

After a successful season in both junior and youth flag football and subsequently qualifying for the BAFL British finals in both age groups, the Woodham Warriors arrived at the Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster with only one thing on their minds – victory! Tough semi finals against quality opposition from Scotland in the shape of the Grangemouth Broncos (youth) and the Highland Wildcats (Junior) made it a tough ask to even be in with a shout of winning both championships.
