School Trips

We believe that offering students a rounded educational experience involves more than just good lessons in the classroom. Each year Woodham Academy students have the opportunity to participate in trips to a variety of different cities, cultures and regions, whether heading to the bakeries of France, the theatres of London or the jungles of Thailand, the experiences students gain are a huge part of their development as individuals.

On this page we will put information about overnight trips as they are planned and offered to students. Be aware that this is not an exhaustive list of all the opportunities we offer - we run many trips to destinations closer to home throughout the year, and students will be informed of those by letter or email.

Due to the growth in pupil numbers at Woodham we have noticed an increased demand for places on School Trips. Therefore for each trip we invite parents to complete a form expressing their interest and will randomly allocate places to students. Those who are unsuccessful may be held on a reserve list should others drop out.
