All students will receive 2 pieces of homework each week. This will be all online on Sparx Reader and Sparx Maths.

This work should amount to a minimum of 1 hour a week for Year 7 and 2 hours a week for Year 8.
The completion of this work is an expectation for all our students in these year groups. We do however want our students to go beyond the minimum and be inspired to work hard. Opportunities for extra work will be available across their curriculum and we look to celebrate those student who go above and beyond the required levels of independent work.
Students are able to attend homework club is they would rather complete homework in their own time at school. Homework club runs in Room 2-08 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday lunchtimes and after school on Tuesday and Thursday.
Year 9
All students will receive 30 minutes of homework for each subject listed below.

Half an hour per week, per subject.
(Some subjects may choose to give an hour’s worth of homework once a fortnight, but all student should receive the same amount).
In addition to expected homework, departments will identify revision materials and opportunities for extra study and students will be celebrated for going beyond the basic expectations.
