Personal Development

By studying our Personal Development curriculum at Woodham, we aim to develop students holistically: mentally, socially, emotionally and physically to create more rounded individuals who are prepared for life after school beyond the formal academic curriculum.

We view Personal Development as an opportunity to think critically, educate on Careers, Citizenship, (including Citizenship, Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural education), PSHE, (Personal, Social, Health and Economic education), and RSE, (Relationship and Sex education), to ensure students have an awareness of their rights and have the foundations to made educated life decisions.

We aim to provide students with time and space in a confidential setting to explore issues and to prepare them about the wider world.
